Grade Printouts this Friday!

                                                                      Grade Reports All students will receive a printout of their current grades on Friday, Oct. 28th.  Students should return the grade printout reflections with a parent signature by Tuesday, Nov. 1st.  As a reminder:  Grade   Printouts Approximately every 2 weeks, teachers will prepare “assignment/ grade   printouts ” for students so that they can have an accurate accounting of what assignments may be missing and whether their assessments are indicating a need for tutoring. These   printouts   will be offered to students alongside of a short meeting with the teacher if necessary. These   grade   reports will require a parent signature; the hope is that teachers/students and students/parents will be able to have meaningful conversations around struggles and successes so that appropriate plans and priorities can be put in place or adjusted.   Students   should note that any assignment in the   grade   printout that is mar

6th grade ELAR Updates

  6th grade ELAR UPDATES *Oct. 26th - Students will participate in a socratic seminar over the novel Anne of Green Gables. *October 27th - Grammar Test *October 28th - Literature Test over Anne of Green Gables *October 31st- Students will need their own copy of The Christmas Carol.

Our next Classic to Keep is The Miracle Worker by William Gibson.  We lo ok forward to reading this play about an inspiring historical figure, Hellen Keller. We will begin reading this play after Fall Break.
